Rudolph Valentino was one of the most photographed celebrities of his day.  Formal portraits, stills taken on the movie sets, candid photos from all aspects of his life, he was photographed thousands upon thousands of times.

Rudolph Valentino was an avid hobbyist and collector.  Among the things he collected were antiques, medieval armor and weapons.  He loved mechanical gadgets and big toys (cars) and small toys (cameras).  Valentino could take both his cars and his cameras apart and put them back together again.

While it is unrealistic and impossible to post every photo of Valentino in existence, a good sampling will be found here as these pages are updated.  Many of the photos have not been seen since they were originally published, if they were published at all.

It will be the photos by the press photographers (the paparazzi of their day) that may prove to be the most interesting as they are the ones that catch Valentino at his most natural, at his happiest and saddest.

The photo pages are currently under construction and links will appear as pages are added.

Easy peasy, right?
